VECTOR W2

Hello and welcome back....Looking like it was pulled from the future, the Vector W2 was America's answer to the Lamborghini Countach.

The Vector W2 was a concept car only meaning it was never placed in production with its prototype being built in 1980.

Vector claimed that its beast of a car could go up to 320kmph (230mph) and had a twin turbocharged 350 Chevrolet V8 engine snugged under its bonnet so it could have been possible.

When placed in Top Gears hands, Vector asked not to do a top speed test on it.

The dash of the Vector put Marty's time machine (back to the future) to shame... look at all those buttons.

Over the life of the W2 it managed a mere 160,000 kms.

Currently, the Vector W2 prototype is owned by Wiegert. The car is currently dismantled, and stored alongside other Vector equipment in the current Vector headquarters in Wilmington, California...So Sad..Sniff :(
